Change Facility Tomorrow Report's run time and fields

Following TMS-I-196, Brandon Alston asked:
Would love to see earlier updates, if possible, the next day report sooner, if possible, to add volume attached. These are tools that will help us plan more accurately.

Question Kayvan- Is it possible to add a column next to the BOL column to add the volume associated with it? The BOL has the contents...?

    Hi Brandon and all,

Absolutely, we can have the "Tomorrow - Inbound and Outbound Report" run earlier as well, however keep in mind that these are static reports and if we run them too early, you may miss some last-minute Ad Hoc loads being created. That being said, we can still refine the run time. Would you rather have the report for Tomorrow sent out like an hour sooner? Or maybe have it run twice; say once at 6 PM EST and again at 11 PM EST. Please let me know what would be more helpful.

As I’ve expressed before also, the Apex Live Freight Departure Arrival Dashboard gives you a more dynamically up to date view of the loads (for today). Make use of it!

And regarding volume data; that is the million dollar question!

Finger to the wind I’d say Yes, we can add such columns, but since we do not have inbound volume data visibility yet, the baseline Qty (1) and Weight (100) would be misleading if considered for staff/capacity planning.

Alternatively, we may have a better chance if we only add the Qty and weight values for interfacility and outbound shipment types where we have a higher chance of having accurate data. I will add this for the team to review and we will get back to you all with feasibility results.
