Carrier Portal Settings

What is the correct ezClick configuration? I understand there is no Version 3 carrier portal, but cannot locate the right settings to get ezClick to function.

We need to understand the Detention reason and workflow. Configuration of criteria ?
Need to understand the activity better

Carrier Profile needs to have reference type: Carrier Tender Activity with value = true

Carrier User needs to have references type: SCAC with value = to the carriers SCAC

"set appointment" activity (which is not a carrier user activity) needs to be complete( I have this set to auto complete once the load status is tendered to avoid confusion/extra work)

    Updated email dialogue:

The carrier needs to have the reference type of “Carrier Tender Response” with a value of “true” in Carma. Adding the reference to the carrier in TMS wont work because the TMS doesn’t flow to Carma , Carma info flows to the TMS though. Best practice is to add the reference in Carma so the two platforms can sync up. I added this reference to CARMA this morning and manually synced it to the TMS(KOSK). Its working as expected. SBLD5550 as load reference

Set appointment is not a carrier activity. It is an operational user activity this was not complete. When its pending , the carrier wont see the load because we removed it from the carriers workflow last year. For now I set this activity to auto complete once the load status is ‘tendered’…usually at that point the appointment setting is complete. It can easily be adjusted after the team reviews and we get a chance to talk.

    • When will the carrier see a load in 1. Tendered Loads? As long as the carrier profile has the “Carrier Tender Response” reference, the carrier user profile has the associated SCAC, and the load is in tendered status the carrier will see the loads.

    • What is 2. Dispatch? A report that shows loads that have the dispatch activity as pending. I recall this from last year as not needing to be used.

    • Why is LD4786 not showing in 3. Set Arrivals/Departures if the Next Activity Type is Set Arrival/Departures? The filters for all these reports can be viewed by emulating the report writer user and opening the report filters in the porlet (EZClick Load List -carrier)

      • Is another activity reference needed in the carrier profile? no

    • Book activity was not complete

      • Normally after tendering the load, the carrier responds with the EDI 990 assigning the carrier PRO which also changes the load status from Tendered to Booked

        • How can the carrier complete the Book status?

    • Set Appointment wasn’t complete

      • Historically our carriers have not performed this activity

      • Normally when a tendered is accepted, the expectation is that the carrier would pick up the load as designated on the pickup window of the tender (Target Ship early to Target Ship late)

        • How can the carrier complete this activity?

        • Is there a way to automate it?

    • When will the carrier see a load in 1. Tendered Loads?

    • What is 2. Dispatch?

    • Why is LD4786 not showing in 3. Set Arrivals/Departures if the Next Activity Type is Set Arrival/Departures?

      • Is another activity reference needed in the carrier profile?

The ‘Book’ activity wasn’t complete and the set appointment wasn’t complete.

Not sure the order of steps taken but I completed those activities and the load is visible.

    Geno,
this reminds me of the problem we had before on QA where the load would disappear from Carrier Portal reports once tender was accepted.

    Do you remember ?

updates: Reference section of the User is missing. Geno has access, we no longer do in production but it exists in QA. Believe this is related to the User Preferences disappearing.

Additionally in the Carrier profile, the Ref: Carrier Tender Activity needs to be set to True.

Furthermore, the load needs to be 1. Booked and 2. Appointment Set in order to have the carrier be able to see a load in Carrier Active loads.

Researching how the carrier can complete activities 1. and 2. listed above. Also, still unclear why load is not visible in Tendered loads before the Booking and Appointment setting activities.

At the Bottom in the Admin Settings:

    GUI Version = Portal Only

Look and Feel = Extended Version

    Rating Visibility Fields:

    Carrier = True

Customer = False (this solved the carrier seeing customer portal issue)

But cannot get carrier to see any loads in the portal.

Transportation level, User Irwin1. SCAC is UNK1
